EXPERT FACILITATORS

Training you to develop a powerful, executive presence, you get constant access to highly trained experts on ethics, performing arts and image. You also get access to our two lead facilitators–Glen Petersen and Harold Hillman–who are incredibly qualified to support and train you in our intense day-time and evening sessions.

The ALP program could be one of the most intense, challenging and rewarding experiences of your life.

VALUABLE FEEDBACK

To help you learn and develop the leadership skills that make up an executive presence, you’re encouraged to challenge yourself and broaden your thinking. This involves receiving direct and personal feedback from highly capable and experienced facilitators and your peers.

At times it’ll feel like you’re having a mirror held up in front you, exposing the real you because of our custom 360 direct developmental feedback, with the facilitators helping you interpret this feedback so you can develop and reshape your leadership presence.

ACTION LEARNING

Our action-learning model etches your learnings into actionable steps, via extensive use of role-playing and continuous feedback, allowing you to practice and apply the skills you learn.

Beyond the program, you’ll emerge with a personal development plan to ensure the momentum continues and changes become habitual–effectively applying your new skills with confidence.

ENGAGED AND STIMULATED COHORT

The program has a strict, limited numbers of attendees for a purpose. As a live-in program, we make sure that there’s a high level of personal interaction, feedback and coaching that other executive development programs lack. This creates a unique learning environment where participants are encouraged to be vulnerable with each other, alternating between various roles (actor, assessor, coach, learning partners).

Enrolment in the ALP Experience is limited to only ten people to ensure deep engagement, real insight and reflection. Managing Director of Generator Talent Group, Glen has over 30 years’ experience in some of the largest and most successful organisations across Australia, New Zealand and North America. He has an outstanding reputation as a judge and developer of executive talent, coaching executives on how to lead with more effect.


HAROLD HILLMAN

Managing Director of Sigmoid Curve Consulting and holding executive experience across some of North America and New Zealand’s largest consulting and financial firms, Harold specialises in building learning, leadership and change as core capabilities in individuals, teams and organisations. He works primarily with chief executives and executive teams leading large scale culture change.

We know it when we see it yet understanding how it’s created and developing it can be difficult. Beyond the critical components of day to day communication, we’ve defined Leadership Presence as:

“An authentic quality of poise and effectiveness that enables an executive to connect with a range of people and influence successful outcomes”.

A leader’s ability to connect with and inspire people in an authentic fashion are the critical outcomes that define outstanding executive success today.

ALP goes beyond the basic and ineffective ‘Leadership Development’ programs that commonly plague the market. We do this by focusing first on your thoughts, and how they shape your actions and your life. We examine your purpose and values (your moral compass), and help you become a truly authentic and credible leader.

We go beyond the basic “Presentation Skills” programs by teaching you more than just presenting–we work on developing your self-awareness, building your self-confidence and create a set of personal values that are vital for every effective presenter.

We don’t simplify “Emotional Intelligence” nor give you fluff to work with–we teach and train you in real and time-tested practical techniques that make you thoroughly understand others, develop empathy, and self-awareness; in essence we train you in all the foundational skills you need to get on and influence others.
